The nearest exit route to bypass this drop is quite far back. Peek-A-Boo, also commonly known as Red Canyon, is an easy, short hike (0.7 miles round trip) into one of the most beautiful slot canyons in the area. The floor is sandy and has no potholes to hold any water so the passages are largely unobstructed, until a 20 foot pour-off topped by protruding chokestones, a blockage not easily climbable. Some parts are quite dark because of overhanging rocks above, and the smooth curving walls allow for pretty reflections and light effects, quite similar to canyons around Page in Arizona, such as Antelope. At the bottom of the switchbacks, it emerges from the cavern with a close-up view of the Wall of Windows to the right. Don't enter the Wahweap Marina turnoff, which is shortly after crossing the dam. To find this viewpoint, you need to drive a few miles past the Carl Hayden Dam and Visitor Centre.

The trail descends through this cavern via a series of short switchbacks.
